Melt — Privacy Policy

Last Updated: 11/8/2026

PalmScale LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company trading as "Melt" ("Melt", "we", "us", "our"), operates meltinbed.com (the "Website"). We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and what rights you have. It applies to customers and visitors in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand.

Our Website and Products are for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

1. A Note on Sensitivity

We sell intimacy supplements. We understand that the fact you bought from us is personal, and we treat it that way.

  • We never sell your personal information for money.
  • We never share your name, email, or address with data brokers, list rental services, or unrelated third parties.
  • Our packaging and billing descriptor are discreet and do not identify the Product.
  • Our marketing emails are sent from a plain sender name.

In the UK, information that reveals details of a person's sex life is a special category of data under Article 9 of the UK GDPR. We do not ask for, and do not want, health or sexual-history information from you. Where an inference about you could be drawn from your purchase, we process that information only on the basis of your explicit consent (given when you place an order, and withdrawable at any time), and we do not use it for advertising targeting beyond what is described in Section 4.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information you give us

What When
Name, email, shipping and billing address, phone number When you order
Order contents and history When you order
Account login details If you create an account
Reviews, photos, survey answers, support messages If you send them
Age confirmation (18+) At checkout

Payment card details: we do not receive, store, or have access to your full card number. Payment is handled directly by our payment processors, who are separate controllers of that data.

2.2 Information collected automatically

IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, time on site, approximate location derived from IP (city or region level, not precise GPS), and cookie identifiers.

2.3 Information from third parties

Order and fraud-screening data from our payment processors, delivery status from carriers, and aggregated advertising performance data from advertising platforms.

3. Why We Use It, and Our Legal Basis

For customers in the UK, the "legal basis" column sets out our basis under UK GDPR. For customers elsewhere, it describes our purpose.

Purpose Legal basis (UK GDPR)
Processing and delivering your order Performance of a contract
Customer support and order enquiries Performance of a contract
Handling refunds and returns Performance of a contract; legal obligation
Fraud prevention and chargeback defence Legitimate interests (protecting the business)
Verifying you are 18 or over Legal obligation; legitimate interests
Site analytics and improving the Website Consent (via cookie banner)
Advertising and retargeting Consent (via cookie banner)
Marketing emails Consent
Keeping tax and accounting records Legal obligation
Any inference about sex life arising from a purchase Explicit consent (Article 9(2)(a))

You can withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out, and does not affect our ability to fulfil an order you have already placed.

4. Who We Share It With

We share personal information with the following categories of recipients, only as needed:

  • E-commerce platform — hosting the Website and storing order data
  • Payment processors — taking payment and screening for fraud
  • Fulfilment and shipping providers — packing and delivering your order
  • Carriers — delivering your parcel and providing tracking
  • Email and customer support platforms — sending order and support messages
  • Analytics providers — measuring Website performance
  • Advertising platforms — measuring campaign performance and, where you have consented, showing you relevant ads
  • Professional advisers — accountants and lawyers, where necessary
  • Authorities — where we are legally required to disclose, or to establish or defend legal claims

We also disclose information in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you.

Advertising and "sale" of data. We do not sell personal information for money. However, when advertising and analytics cookies are active, identifiers may be shared with advertising platforms for measurement and targeting. Under some US state privacy laws this counts as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. You can opt out at any time — see Section 8.

5. International Transfers

We are based in the United States. If you order from the UK, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate.

For transfers from the UK, we rely on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or on the UK Addendum where our provider is covered by an adequacy decision. Copies of the relevant safeguards are available on request from support@meltinbed.com.

6. How Long We Keep It

Data Retention
Order records, invoices, tax records 7 years from the order (legal requirement)
Account details Until you delete your account, then 30 days
Marketing contact details Until you unsubscribe, then removed within 30 days
Support correspondence 2 years from last contact
Reviews and testimonials published on the Website Until you ask us to remove them
Website analytics data 14 months
Fraud and chargeback records 2 years, or longer if a dispute is open

After these periods we delete the data or irreversibly anonymise it.

7. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for four purposes:

  • Strictly necessary — cart, checkout, login, security. These cannot be turned off.
  • Functional — remembering your preferences.
  • Analytics — understanding how the Website is used.
  • Advertising — measuring campaigns and showing relevant ads.

Analytics and advertising cookies are only set after you consent via our cookie banner. You can change your choices at any time through the cookie settings link in the Website footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser.

Do Not Track: there is no common industry standard for DNT signals, so we do not respond to them. We do honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as an opt-out of sale and sharing where applicable law requires it.

8. Your Rights

8.1 Everyone

Wherever you live, you can email support@meltinbed.com to:

  • Ask what we hold about you and get a copy
  • Correct anything inaccurate
  • Ask us to delete your information
  • Unsubscribe from marketing
  • Opt out of advertising cookies

We respond within 30 days. We may ask you to verify your identity first — usually by confirming details of a recent order. We do not charge for this.

8.2 United Kingdom

Under UK GDPR you additionally have the right to: restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, data portability, withdraw consent, and not be subject to solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. We do not carry out such automated decision-making.

You may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113). We would appreciate the chance to address it first.

8.3 United States

Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have the right to know, access, correct, delete, and opt out of sale, sharing, and targeted advertising, and to appeal a refusal. We do not discriminate against you for exercising these rights — you will get the same price and service either way.

California: we do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16. Categories collected, used, and disclosed in the past 12 months are set out in Sections 2 and 4. You may designate an authorised agent to act for you, with written proof.

8.4 Canada

Under PIPEDA and applicable provincial laws you may access and correct your personal information and withdraw consent. You may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca) or to your provincial commissioner.

8.5 Australia

Under the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles you may access and correct your personal information and complain about how we handle it. Complaints go to support@meltinbed.com; we respond within 30 days. If unsatisfied, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au, 1300 363 992).

8.6 New Zealand

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you may access and correct your personal information. You may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz, 0800 803 909).

9. Marketing

We send marketing emails only if you opt in. Every email has an unsubscribe link that works immediately.

We do not currently operate an SMS marketing programme. If we introduce one, we will ask for your consent separately and consent will never be a condition of purchase.

10. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and vetted processors. Payment data is handled by PCI-DSS compliant processors and never touches our systems.

No system is completely secure. If a breach occurs that is likely to result in a risk to your rights, we will notify the relevant regulator and affected individuals within the timeframes required by law — 72 hours to the ICO for UK residents, and as required under applicable US state, Canadian, Australian, and New Zealand law.

You are responsible for keeping your account password confidential.

11. Children

The Website and Products are for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us personal information, email support@meltinbed.com and we will delete it promptly.

12. Third-Party Links

The Website may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing personal information.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. The "Last Updated" date at the top shows when. If changes are material, we will notify you by email or a prominent Website notice before they take effect. We will not apply materially different processing to previously collected data without a fresh legal basis.
